HAVE BHAJJI MADE IT LARGE?

The answer is NO. Somebody should have taken action against the ‘spoof’ earlier.

The ‘have I made it large’ spoof ad of a major liqour brand opens with a Harbhajan lookalike sitting in a ball bearing factory. Then comes the father and slaps & scolds him because he has made larger than life ball bearings ( 3gp video available ).

Harbhajan(in fact his mother) has slapped liqour baron Vijay Mallya’s UB group with notice claiming that the ad has brought disgrace to his family and community.

The Ad was first aired when the India- WI series was going on. But it was not the IPL season when you attack your rivals with guerilla advertising. That was an important series where the team needed harmony. The question remains- why didn’t Dhoni ask the ad makers to change the theme of the ad? He shouldn’t have acted in such an Ad in the first place where some one is insulting his close buddy.

Meanwhile, Mr. Mallya is reluctant in taking the ad off air. Ahead of the first test with England, team India should consider various other matters rather than keeping bitterness in their mind. Good Luck Team India and make every inning large in England.
